Rates

The following rates are in place for 2026/2027. Rates apply to full-time students enrolled at the Nicola Valley Institute of Technology. Utilities, wireless Internet access and a furnished suite are included. Students can apply for Student Housing before they are accepted into their program.

Please note: upon acceptance a $250 security deposit will be due. This deposit will be fully refundable after move out as long as your account is paid up to date and room is left clean and undamaged.

A non-refundable $60 Housing Activity Fee will also be due upon acceptance, this fee is in addition to the housing fees and helps to subsidize events and activities organized by Housing Staff.

Cancellation & Withdrawals

Cancellations occur prior to move-in. Withdrawals occur after move-in. Cancellations and withdrawals will not be accepted over the phone. If you decide to cancel your Student Housing application you must submit a Cancellation/Withdrawal Request Form via in-person, email, fax, or by mail.
